A year ago, your generous donation helped Kitulu Community in Kenya access clean water – creating a life-changing moment for Enock. Thank you!

Giving Update: Kitulu Community, Kiduve Spring

"We used to stay at the spring for so long before getting water because anytime we found it dirty, we had to wait for it to settle first. Adults used to mistreat us since they believed that it was their right to collect water before young children."

"Therefore, even when in a queue expecting to get water, adults used to come later and hijack our spot and this used to sadden us."

"Right now, we do not wait for the water to settle as it is clean throughout. There is order at the spring when we go to fetch water."

"Spring users agreed that collecting water would be on a basis of first come, first served. This has created peace for everyone and made the fetching activity enjoyable."

"I do not fall sick often and this has helped me get ample time to concentrate on my academics. I believe it is the reason my performance really improved in the 2019 year-end examinations."
