Family + friends + co-workers + social media connects,

Join me in one of the most inspirational challenges yet: The Clean Water Challenge!

To give you a little back story, I have been following the Water Crisis effecting Cape Town South Africa. Cape Town officials have announced that they will shut off water to over 4 million residents due to a water shortage. Imagine waking up one day and not having immediate access to water for bathing, cooking, drinking, cleaning..etc. I don't know about you but this would turn my world upside down!

This story brought a much larger issue to light for me. There are countries in Africa (Uganda, Kenya and Sierra Leone) where only a portion of the population have access to clean water.

I didn't want to sit around and do nothing. As a busy working mother and wife, I need YOUR help to make a difference here.

Why not make it fun?! CHALLENGE yourself to trade in those expensive Starbucks coffees, energy drinks, sugary sprites or (insert drink of choice) for some good ol clean water.

That's not where the challenge ends though, calculate the money you save and donate it back so you can help provide others with nice clean water.

On average, you will save about $23 per week by cutting out the extra drinks (not to mention the pounds you'll probably shed too :-) )

Maybe you'll even be inspired to MATCH the amount you save to double your donation.

Either way, drinking water for two weeks will save you enough to provide clean water to one child (in Uganda, Kenya or Sierra Leone) for a lifetime!

Start with me now, I hope you're thirsty....'cause we're drinking some water!!

How this works

Dirty water impacts health, education, women, and income. Providing a reliable and safe water source allows communities to thrive.

The Water Project provides access to safe and reliable water across sub-Saharan Africa. Together, our support can end the water crisis and restore hope, one community at a time.

The coolest part? We'll all get to see our impact! Every gift is directly linked to a specific water project and community. We'll receive updates including photos and stories, maps and more!

Lives change when communities gain access to clean water. Let's experience it together. Make a donation to my fundraising campaign today!
