Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

Last year the Rescue Tour came to Marion First Church of the Nazarene in Marion, Ohio. My heart instantly went out to WorldHelp and their mission.

The mission that has tugged at my heart the most is the clean water projects. I never really thought about issues with unclean drinking water until I saw a Baby Rescue video through WorldHelp. A young child was slowly dying as parasites invaded the poor child's body. Thankfully, WorldHelp went up into the mountain and brought the child back down to receive medical attention. As a nurse, I cannot imagine a world without access to clean water for hand-hygiene, hydration, and such. One day I hope to do a missions trip to help treat, educate, and provide care for those who are suffering from similar conditions. As this is not a reasonable option in this season of my life, I am choosing to send money where my hands and feet cannot be at this time. I hope that it may be an extension of myself until I can physically help the cause. I am asking that you would consider joining me and my efforts to make a larger impact. Thank you, Andrea Marshall

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
