Millions of children are forced to walk miles upon miles every single day in order to simply get water. This walking is taking valuable time out of their day which they could have spent getting an education. This lack of education will deny them the opportunity to make their way out of the poverty cycle and get a better life for themselves and their children. Even the water they do get is often unsanitary, unreliable, and causes them and their families sickness and disease. Although we know many things are going on in the world right now including protests for justice and a global pandemic, this cause has been glossed over as the new problems come into light.
