Help Fund a Water Project
As a human who fasts in Ramadan I feel very thirsty and hungry. I'm thankful that I can break my fast at sunset. Many people in the world live in the harsh reality of starvation and thirst every single day.
If your child, mother, father, sister or brother did not have water what would you do? You would probably give them water so they don't die. Well today I am here to remind myself and all I know that our world is filled with humans (our extended family) who are dying of thirst. Living in such wealth and comfort makes me feel obligated to do something about this. In this month I reflect on the True meaning of Ramadan I want to take action to correct a wrong in this world. In doing so I hope to inspire others to help out our fellow man and women. I truly believe that God will ask us about our neighbors in the next life. By donating to help build this water well you are helping your neighbor and serving humanity by saving a life. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“If a human dies, then his good deeds stop except for three: a Sadaqa Jariah (continuous charity), a beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” – Sahih Muslim
By building a well you fall into the category of "Sadaqa Jariah" (continuous charity) because it provides water for years to come and is a source of life for people who live under the most extreme conditions on earth.

Why It Matters

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
