In November 2016, at the Called United Methodist Middle School retreat at Eagle Airy in Lynchburg, VA, I took a Water Pledge to go one full year only drinking water to bring awareness to the struggle other countries have to access clean water. I started on January 1, 2017 and completed my challenge on December 31, 2017. Family members and friends have pledged to donate upon my success.
