Chloe's Birthday Water Campaign
Help Fund a Water Project
On my 14th birthday, I want to help others, save lives, and make the world a better place. What better way can I do that then to help provide funding for people to have access to clean water and sanitation. From now until December 26, I want to reach my goal of $500 or more, so more people will have the basic human need of clean, safe water.
Worldwide, 1 out of every 5 deaths of children under 5 is due to a water-related disease.
Imagine if that were your child. Your child, not old enough to fully experience the wonders of the world, has died from a water related disease. Why should we let this happen to anyone? Especially if we have the power to change this statistic. "According to the World Health Organization, for every $1 invested in water and sanitation, there is an economic return of between $3 and $34."
So imagine what $10 could do.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
