Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

Let's help instill a sense of selflessness in our kids by raising awareness and donating our time and money to help build a well in Africa. When kids bring in coins, they can place them in the clear container on the table by the door in the school age room. Our hopes are that they will earn the money by doing extra chores at home. While they are doing chores, we hope that they will spend their time thinking about the kids their age in other countries who don't have clean water to drink. Along with this project, we will be doing activities to teach the kids at New Horizon about the locations that our fundraising will impact, the cultural differences in the communities we will be helping, and the challenges that a lack of water brings to people. New Horizon staff will also be participating in this fundraiser. Let's meet our goal of raising $200 by July 26! Thank you for your support in this project!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
