In our AP Human Geography class, we, girls who have lived our lives so far with great fortune, have learned of the hardship faced by others. We've learned that people worldwide lack what we take for granted, and since we do not choose what situation we are born into, we feel that as citizens of a very fortunate country, it is our duty to help those who need our help.
Many who live in Sub-Saharan Africa walk miles everyday just to get something we can easily draw clean from our fridges, sinks, and showers. They labor over a meager amount of water, riddled with disease and dirt, while we can flip a lever, and have gallons of usable water at a time handed to us. Water is an essential to life, so we must make sure everyone has access to it.
We hope you'll consider joining us to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. We can change that. Please make a donation and then help us spread the word.
Thank You in advance for your contribution! - The Girls of the Water Project, Marcus High School: Chersey Tabios, Katie M, Caitlyn Aenis, and Sydney Adams

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
