Girl Scout Troop #1551 and future Georgia Troop Fundraiser
Help Fund a Water Project
Junior troop #1551 in Tucson AZ and Georgia Troop, started there journey as Brownies when they decided to become advocates to save water! Our troop has been focusing on a Wonders of Water journey.. We have learned all about the water cycle, importance of water, how to keep it clean and how to harvest it. We have started the Project Water Challange to bring awareness, along with many other events. Our troop has chosen the water project because we have come to understand that many places around the world do not have clean water, and water is a valuable resource that is essential to life. It is also important for us to let others know that a small person can make a big differance. Please help us raise money for this water well!

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
