Help Fund a Water Project
MY "DRILL A WELL" PROJECT
Hi There,
My name is David Aboki, I am 12 years old and currently a 6th grade student at the Singapore American School.
I am running a 'Drill A Well in Kenya' Project to support the Water Project Company who have been helping Kenya with their water problems over the years. My goal is to raise over $3500 because that is the minimum costs to drill a Well in Kenya.
I chose to sponsor Kenya because it is one of the most struggling countries in the world with several decades of water crisis and poor living conditions. With a 45 million population,17.5 million have no access to clean water, 31.7 million have no sanitation and 43.4% live in poverty. Kenya has also had erratic weather patterns in the past few years causing droughts and water shortages. Without clean water, people in Kenya can get diseases such as Cholera, Typhoid, Diarrhea and possibly die.
Please help make a difference. Clean water means a chance to live a healthier life.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
