Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

I know the importance of a good cause...and there is none better than this. No! Not giving clean water to millions of people who need it (that's the second best good cause), but to stop the cruel torture of having my wife provide gift ideas for all my loved ones who want to buy me Christmas/Birthday gifts.

My wife loves me for who I am - a very picky consumer who is dedicated to spending lots of money on useless materialistic things...and she dreads every year when she has to tell my family and friends the very expensive and hard to find items I demand on my birthday and Christmas.

Therefore, I have decided on the goodness of my heart (and to prevent early graying of my wife's hair) to set up this page where I shall declare - FROM NOW UNTIL THE END OF THE INTERNET - ALL I SHALL DESIRE FOR CHRISTMAS AND MY BIRTHDAY ARE DONATIONS TO THE WATER PROJECT.

In all seriousness, I think it would be really cool if I could help fund a well. So, donate what you would otherwise have given me. It's a much better use of your money.

- Cheers,
Dave.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
