Today in Africa 1 in 3 people (330 million people) do not have clean water.“Each year an estimated 2.2 million children die from diarrhea2 and 443 million school days are lost to water-related illnesses." “This represents an increase of 66 million people since 19905 who do not have a clean water source.” “In Sub-Saharan Africa, 68% of the rural population spends more than 1 hour per trip of water collection” Clean water will help people in Africa a lot. They wont have too spend days collecting water that's not healthy for them. This clean water will help lower the amount of people that are getting diseases in Africa due to the dirty water.
