David Coffin's Wells
Help Fund a Water Project
As all of you who knew David are aware, he travelled all over the world. Many places he visited were poor and in need of help. David and I understood that the mining business we followed and were involved with could be a force for good, bringing high paying jobs and infrastructure to remote and impoverished areas. Nonetheless, it can't solve every problem in every region. One particular problem David often commented on was the lack of infrastructure - especially the very basic kind like fresh water wells.
David's family thought that helping to raise funds for well building projects in parts of Africa he had visited several times would be a fitting tribute and part of his legacy. Your donation will help build and maintain modern fresh water wells that provide villages with safe drinking water. Safe water is one of life's necessities and has a huge positive impact in lowering disease rates. David's family will contribute enough to build the first well in his honor. Let's see how many wells we can fund, both to honor David's memory but also to prove we are an industry that knows how to give back to the regions we explore.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
