Etem's Campaign for Water

Our loving father has unexpectedly passed away . He was a lung cancer survivor,living with only one lung for twenty plus years . Anyone who knew our dad knew him for his strength ,courage and compassion . He was there for everyone without expecting anything in return whether it’d be donations , family matters ,moral support etc . His smile lit up every place he went to. Two days ago we bought our father to the ER after our father was complaining about chest pain and vomiting . He had a X-ray done where they found out he had ammonia . Quickly after he was sent to the ICU with an oxygen mask . Shortly after his lung filled up with liquid he was in critical condition . He left battling and fighting pushing through the pulses he had left and even coming back to life after his heart stopped for a moment . All you heard in the hospital was the cries of his kids and wife after the announcement of his sudden death . We hope to build a well in memory of our Dad so his legacy and deeds live on . Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When a person dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, or beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who will pray for him.” Sad ibn Ubaadah said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Should I give charity on her behalf? He said, Yes. I asked, What kind of charity is best? He said, Providing water." (Reported by al-Nisaai)
