Mrs. Cushman's 1st Graders at LCA
Help Fund a Water Project
This year our first graders are learning about the far reach of God's love. These children dream big! They want to reach over to the continent of Africa to show a village God's love by building a well to provide them with clean water.
Beginning Monday, November 4 students and their families who are taking on the Water challenge will be drinking water as their only beverage for two weeks. We'll set aside whatever money we might have spent on juice, soda, tea, coffee or other drinks and will donate that money to the Water Project. We invite you to join us! If you can't or don't want to take this Water Challenge, we also ask that you consider making a donation toward building a well.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
