Help Fund a Water Project
We are Gabrielle and Danielle Daudet, from Oakbank MB. For years we have been asking Dad to take us on a trip. Finally it is happening but it is not a conventional vacation, we are going to Africa. We will be visiting orphanages, and schools, and home staying in village home. BUT the most important thing is we are sponsoring 2 WATER PROJECTS which means we need to raise $12,000.
Our research shows that providing communities with fresh water changes many things, especially for Girls, who are typically responsible for collecting water. We are blessed with education and many other activities such as soccer but if we lived in a a community without water, we would spent most of our day fetching water. School would be secondary.
We have raised enough money for our first project in Western Kenya (Nakhabale Spring Catchment ). This means that 980 people will no longer have to travel 2KM for water! Thanks to all for the support. Now we are aiming for $12,000 so we can get a second project started, a new Well in the Kakamega area of Kenya. When we are in Africa, we will try to visit the communities we sponsored, and will take photos and video to share with you.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
