WATER MEANS LIFE! WE NEED YOUR
HELP!
Dear Families and Friends of the Harbor Lites Chapter of the
Links Incorporated!
Nearly a billion, 884 million people do not have access to
clean and safe water. Every day in rural
communities and poor urban centers throughout sub-Saharan Africa,
hundreds of millions of men, women and children suffer from lack of access to
clean, safe water. Entire communities
are robbed of their future as a direct loss due to water borne illnesses and
deaths. It left us wondering why and how
can we help. So we, the women of the
Harbor Lites Chapter of the Links Incorporated decided that we can and will
make a difference. We also decided that
we can make even a greater difference, if other concerned family members and
friends would join us in this effort.
So we are appealing to you to help us in this effort to
provide clean water and toilets to the men, women and children of Africa. It only takes an email or a phone call and
together we can construct a well that will spring fountains of clean and safe
water to a community.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
