After reading about Salva Dut and his journey across Africa, in an effort to escape war, my students knew they could do anything. Salva Dut survived and was able to go back to South Sudan, building wells in villages, providing clean water for miles around!
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. Their walk to get water is tireless and keeps them from getting a proper education, keeping them in poverty for most of their lives. However, you and I can change that! Let's break that cycle!
