Help Fund a Water Project
What we do for the 'least of these' we've done for the Lord. God has placed Africa in my heart and I see the need is so great to provide something so basic as clean drinking water to so many.
I'll be running my third full marathon this October. The Niagara Falls International Marathon will be held on October 26th, 2014 and is one of the few worldwide marathons which begins in one country and ends in another (Buffalo, NY - Niagara Falls, Canada)! Considering I'll be running for clean water, no better place to run than somewhere water is so plentiful! God gives us gifts, talents, and interests to use for him. Running is my passion and I'm so thankful God can use running to serve Him!
My goal is to raise $100 for every week of marathon training! 18 weeks of training = $1,800. Please consider becoming a part of His work in Africa! I know how excited I am to be a part of what He is doing!
Consider becoming a part of the 2-week water challenge! For 14 days accept the challenge to drink tap water only. All money that you save which may have been put towards that Starbucks Coffee, a Pepsi during dinner out, or a Gatorade all add up to money you can put towards the cause. Just $23 is enough to provide clean, safe water for 1 person in Africa. Ask me how you can become a part of the challenge!

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
