How much do you plan to spend on Christmas gifts
this year? In one report, each American
adult reported that they plan to spend about $700 on Christmas gifts this year. Meanwhile, there are 1 billion people in the world without safe drinking water and we could help them.

I'm ready to change Christmas.

Did you know that 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions? As a wellness coach and trainer, I care about people's health -- from the way their bodies moves, to what they eat, to how they live. The way we move isn't just about exercise. It's about taking action and bringing change. I am taking action to give water. I am moving to bring change.

I'm ready to change Christmas.

How many hours will you spend shopping for Christmas gifts? Every hour, 115 people die from diseases linked to poor sanitation, poor hygiene and contaminated water.

Are you ready to change Christmas?

This
year, consider giving to The Water Project. My goal is $700 – the average
amount you might have spent on other types of gifts this Christmas.
Whether you decide to give some or all of the money you would have spent on
these gifts, my hope is that someone will be moved.

Move with me,

Jen

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
