Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

I'm Kaitlin Glidewell. I want to donate to the water project because when I lived in Rotan TX it was extremely hot! Being in that heat could make me really thirsty! But I always had a full water bottle or a source of fresh water near by. I cant even begin to imagine what it's like in parts of Africa where there isn't always a fresh water source. And sometimes there isn't any water at all! I start thinking about how lucky we are to have good clean water at our finger tips, but then i realize not everyone is so lucky. That is why i want to do this. So that when I think about how lucky we are I can know that there are also people helping others who don't always have access to our resources If you could help me help others by donating just a small amount to this project that would mean the world to me and to who we are providing clean water for. Thank you every dollar counts.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
