Everyday, without even thinking about it, we turn the dial on our tap and drink fresh, clean water. We even worry about what we drink it out of, we spend countless dollars on fancy water bottles while some don't even have a drink!
As we are raised in lucky countries, we do not know what it is like to go without, to have to walk 15km in the blistering sun with no shoes and no food in our stomach just to get a drink that could potentially kill us!
People are living like this right now!! They are risking their lives to quench their thirst.
We all need to pull together now and have some care and compassion for the broader world. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not happening. This issue is very real and it's only getting worse!
Children are dying of thirst every single day. They don't know of the luxuries we have here in our lucky land. Can you imagine these poor women, helplessly watching their children fade and die, while we shower, wash our cars, make a coffee or a tea, let the water run to brush our teeth.
I want you to think long and hard about this every single day, every time you turn on the tap....
It's hard to imagine that your small donation could make a difference but change starts with us!
Together, we can raise the total cost of the construction of a towns water project!
IT'S TIME WE OPENED OUR EYES, AND OUR HEARTS!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
