Our names are Lilianna, Claire, and Annaleana! We are part of Girl Scout Troop 13415, and for our Silver Award we decided to raise $8,000 to build a well in Africa.
Here, in America, water is something we all take for granted. We use it as if there is an infinite supply of it. But in most contries they don't have running water, in that matter they barley have clean, fresh water unless they live near a well. Roughly 500 people each day die from water sicken dieases in Africa.
An average well to build in Africa cost around 8,000 dollars. Every 4 dollars we earn can give a person fresh water. We need everyones help to reach our goal. Spread the news to friends, family, and your community!
