Central Intermediate’s 6th grade is working on a Water Project for Africa- Operation Hydration. We have been learning about Africa and its water shortages since the beginning of December. Thousands of people, children and adults, die daily due to water shortage and unhealthy water consumption. We want to help these people in Africa to have clean and safe drinking water since this problem is a global crisis. Central would love for everyone in the community to chip in to help raise money for those who don’t get the same drinking water we do. Every penny gets us one step close to helping a child in Africa have the luxury of being able to drink clean water.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
