Help Fund a Water Project
Last year, our friend's birthday went by and she received the usual set of gifts from her friends and family. She shared a sentiment afterwards that it'd be nice to see all of that effort and money spent on improving other people's life instead of her own to make the world we live in just a little better.
As such a wish is commendable and rather actionable in the world we find ourselves living, I sought out a charity for this year's birthday to which I could contribute. I looked through several charity rating websites and came up with this charity for this year. I set a group goal for this website but donate whatever denomination you are able to! This project digs and maintains wells around africa to be able to promote the spread of clean potable water for various projects spread across Africa. Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
