Help Fund a Water Project
As we all know by now, potable water is in short supply worldwide. Many of the countries affected by these shortages are in Africa, where lack of water hinders their development. In fact, 1 in five deaths for children under the age of 5 are caused by water-related diseases and nearly 80% of illness in general in developing nations is a direct result of poor water quality and sanitation conditions.
Let's come together and help build a well for a community in Africa. The Water Project can build a well, educate a community, monitor the site following installation, as well as construct weirs, dams, and install rain catchment equipment. And in case you're concerned about where your money is going, our project will have this great website on which photos and updates will be posted, including GPS coordinates of the well! Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
