Out of this project, everyone who is involved and takes part can see the influence and impact that they cause for others. It's an opportunity to give back, reach out, and meaningfully help people.
I find that a lot of the time people feel helpless in the face of developing country's struggles for survival and growth, and this is a very simple way to change that. By providing clean water to these communities, you promote education, you reduce illness, you grow food. It's the basis of allowing growth and potential to be accessed!
But not only that; YOU get to see the impact that your donation makes. When you donate to the foundation, you are linked to a water-project and receive updates on the project by video and photo; it show's you the impact and change that you have helped cause!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
