Help Fund a Water Project
Hi I'm Simeon, I am 14 years old and want to help other people that has much less than we have, even clean drinking water. I'm not doing this for glory or praise. When I was nine I couldn't bare watching the "World Vision" ad, so I decided to sponsor a child but now I want to do something for a whole community. I know that God has blessed my family and I hope that God will bless this project to build wells for the people in Kenya.
We have already sponsored a child in Africa but I want this to be my own project. I got the idea of building a well from the book "Do Hard Things". I know God opens doors & closes doors but here before me I have a door that God has opened to help other children in the world and only God can choose to keep it open. I have been praying everyday for God to come and show me a sign of how I can help other people.
My motto is "If God opened a door, don't sit and wait, Gods given you a way you can help other people". I know that Gods opened a door and if I wait and say that hopefully someone else will take responsibility, how many people would have already died while God is shining a huge arrow in my face that this is my job, I have to take responsibility. I'm not going to wait for it like I did when I was younger, all I want to do is glorify God and give all the praise to Him.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
