We are fundraising to bring clean, safe, and reliable water access to the people of Saza village in Chunya District, Tanzania—a community that has been struggling for years without a dependable water source.
Currently, residents rely on unsafe surface water from streams and open wells that are prone to contamination, especially during the dry season. This exposes families to waterborne diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid. The burden of collecting water falls heavily on women and children, who walk long distances—often over 4 kilometers—every day just to fetch a few liters of water
Our goal is to raise funds to:
Drill a deep borehole to tap into clean underground water
Install a solar-powered pumping system to ensure sustainable water supply
Build storage tanks and tap points to serve multiple parts of the village
Train the community on water management and hygiene practices
This project will transform lives by improving health, reducing school absenteeism among children, saving time, and empowering women and families to pursue education, farming, and small businesses.
Your support can help us break the cycle of water scarcity and poverty.
Together, we can turn hope into reality for over 2,000 people in Saza.
