Siskin Early Learning Center's Classroom 3's Campaign for Clean Water

During a large-group Morning Meeting, the discussion about clean water was brought up. One child asked, "do all kids get to drink clean water or do they have to drink muddy water?" This was an eyeopener for the teachers and they soon got busy coming up with ways in which the children could raise money for clean water. The children shared ideas on how to raise money from selling the Fancy Friday's baked goods to reading our classroom book for an admission price. It has been a valuable lesson on not only empathy but in learning how to help others in a variety of ways. Please join us in donating so that more children have access to clean water.
