Help Fund a Water Project
While researching for my senior project, which is looking at the commercialization and value of water, I found that water, which is a necessity and a human right, is seriously lacking in many parts of the world. Water is a key component in living well, reducing disease, infant mortality, poverty, and many other problems that are plaguing the world right now.
We need to work to make sure that water is valued, and that everyone has access to water, not just those in already-developed countries.
As part of my high school senior project, I hope to raise at least $1000 by the time my senior project ends. Of course, going above and beyond that goal would be wonderful! I think we're extremely lucky in our area to have a such a good infrastructure, and we should share some of the good fortune with those in need.
I am pledging all the proceeds that I make from the postcards ($2 each) I have made, and any from art commissions. But my contribution won't be enough--I need all of your help, and all donations, small or large, make a huge difference.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
