Did you know that nearly 1 billion people live without clean drinking water? When the third graders at St. John's Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas heard about this, they wanted to be a part of the solution. Our third graders have been curating museum galleries that demonstrate their understanding of the properties of water and have become captivated by its role in our lives.
On December 1, parents are invited to join in the learning process and help make a difference. Students will share their knowledge of the unit with hands-on demonstrations and presentations. In conjunction with the presentations, they are asking for donations of any kind to help in the fight against the water crisis.
I hope you'll consider joining us to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. We can change that. Please make a donation and then help us spread the word.
