Water access is a big issue in developing nations.
Not having access to drinking water causes many issues like disease, dehydration, unemployment, war, underdeveloped nations, deformities/disabilities, lack of education, and much, much more. This leads to horrifying statistics like the fact that an estimated half of all hospital beds in the world are occupied by victims of water contamination, or that kids are absent from school an estimated 443 million days total each year because of preventable water-related illnesses, or women and girls across the world spend approximately 200 million hours every day collecting water.
