Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

We hope you'll consider joining us to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.

Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. We can change that. Please make a donation and then help us spread the word. The world's water supply is made up of 97% salt water, 2% fresh water frozen in icebergs, and 1% fresh water found in lakes, rivers, and streams. There are a lot of ways to save water such as turning off the faucet while you brush your teeth, taking quick showers instead of baths, and collecting water in a rain barrel to water your plants. Our school is trying to create awareness so people understand that Africa doesn't have clean water and need wells to get clean water. Africa needs money to build these wells, so we are collecting money to give to Africa. If you're kind enough to donate to Africa,we would really appreciate it! Again, Africa needs clean water, especially when the world's population is rising everyday. Please donate!

Thank you,

Bettie Weaver Students

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
