Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

I am fundraising because even though the part of the world I live in has clean and a large amount of water, other parts have limited access. Water is wasted everyday when the ground is watered instead of the grass , you leave the water running and you're not using it, or you do small laundry loads which use the same amount of water as a large load. I want to people to start conserving water instead of wasting it. When we use water we never think about how the water we are wasting could be given to someone in Africa to drink. Until people begin to realize they should be conserving water, I want to raise money to go towards giving the people of Africa clean water to drink that I know they will appreciate and use the water wisely.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
