Vera was known for her loving heart, big smile, and of course, that poundcake she always baked. She loved God with her whole heart and she held close to Him through the many difficulties that life sent her way.

Upon her passing, in lieu of flowers or gifts, Vera requested that she would like people to give toward helping those in Africa receive clean water. Vera loved to travel and was always supportive in loving and serving people around the world.

To honor her memory and life, Vera's family is requesting that donations be made to this excellent organization, The Water Project, to see people in need receive clean water in sub-saharan Africa and beyond.
