“Water instead of Gifts” Campaign for Water

We swim in lakes, frolic in waterfalls, and fill up our water bottles and dog bowls with fresh water from any faucet in the house. We don’t give it a second thought. Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew there are places in the world that lacked this kind of availability to water. Kaiti did a project in geography earlier this school year about a family from Ghana, one that lived in such a place without water. We have been doing some research and it appearars that once fund raising has stopped we can pick a project of our choosing for the funds. The Hamis Water Source project in the Pakanyi Community in Western Uganda stole our hearts. We hope you'll consider joining us to fund a dug well and hand pump in Uganda.
