Water for Africa

Hi. My name is Simon Petros and I am in 8th grade. I am working on a school project which involves having a fundraiser to help a charity of my choice. The charity of my choice is bringing clean water to people in Africa.

This is important for me as I see many times on television African children that are dehydrated and not having enough water to drink. We also read a book last school term which showed how African children walk miles to get water for their families sometimes risking bad weather or danger while on their way to get the water. Here in the United States we just open our faucet or go to our refrigerator and have water immediately available for our use.

I want to make a difference and help the communities of Africa in any way. I hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa. Any amount is appreciated!
