In October, I visited The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and felt firsthand the heavy water jugs children in Africa carry for miles just to have water. In the beginning of December, I read a book to my Kindergarteners about the importance of having access to clean water to drink, cook with, wash clothes, bathe, etc. It really touched me that a simple luxury like this in my own life is a dire need elsewhere.
The average American family uses more than 300 gallons of water per day at home. Meanwhile in some parts of Africa, instead of going to school, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. You and I can change that. Please make a donation and then help me spread the word.
I want to make a difference while raising awareness of a water crisis that doesn’t have to exist. I hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts (big or small) and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa. We can change the world, one act of kindness at a time!
