Nearly 1 billion people in the world don't have access to clean drinking water. Many spend all day searching for it, and when they do find it, it's dirty and full of water-borne diseases. But it doesn't have to be this way. The Water Project provides access to clean, safe and reliable water across sub-Saharan Africa. They work with local communities to build water wells and rain catchment systems.
