Hello. Our names are Angela and Casey and we are two students from the school called SAS.
In our school, we are learning about waterborne diseases, bacteria, cells, and microorganisms. Mrs. Hill, our science teacher, is a extremely funny teacher but when we heard about how people could die and lose their life, our smile turned into frowns. So, in part of that, we want to make a difference. We think that, us, as humans, could think about the world across from us. We live in a country where there is great facility. But, the world across, as we can't see, lives humans that don't have fresh water. The thought that humans can lose their life with contaminated water blows our minds. Every 15 seconds, a child dies from a water-born disease. Imagine your daughters/sons in this unbelievable situation. A bottle of cold water which costs nearly 85 cents seems like nothing. We sometimes throw away water bottles not realising how this much water could mean hope to people. A hope that will say that they should wait another day. A hope for them to lead their courage. A hope for them to keep on enjoying their life. We are here, in this world, to start helping out our community. We are here to help those in need. Others dream about having ferrari, while the others dream of having a meal. A meal that would make their bellies full. A meal to have and enjoy with all their families. Childrens complaining about warm water. Childrens complaining about lack of water. But, they still live on to this day, for someone to help. Who can help those in need when no one is kind enough to share. When no one is there to give you hope.Please. Save those poor lives. Let's help them. Let's make a difference.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
