Imagine this, you live in Kenya and your whole life you have been gathering water from an unprotected spring that has led to much suffering in your community, hard to imagine isn't it? Here's the good part, in Feburaury 2019 a small group of people you dont know raised enough money to protect your spring, the spring goes from a place of suffering to a place of life, you would dance wouldn't you? Well thats exactly what our community of friends and family did last year, that Spring is the Shihevi Spring in Kenya and their community had a dance party to celebrate how good it was. Oh man, when I started that fundraiser I had no idea that dancing would be involved, if you dont know me I love dancing.
Lets get more African communities dancing this year and lets dance with them! I just started a new fundraiser through the Water Project and I hope to raise $5000, that would be enough to protect another spring for a community in Africa. Its hard to think that the cost of a nice family vacation could change whole generations in these communities, but it can!
When we succeed at raising this money lets get our dancing shoes on and cut a rug together! Party time! Who's in?
