We are so privileged to live in the developed world. Maybe some of us aren't at the level of wealth or financial success that we desire but the things that so many people here take for granted are tragically some of the biggest and most unnecessary scarcities on the other side of the world. 


  • 783 million people do not have access to clean and safe water. 37% of those people live in Sub-Saharan Africa.

  • 443 Million school days are lost each year to water related diseases.

  • Only 16% of people in Africa have access to drinking water through a household connection, this still does not guarantee that the water is clean or safe.

    • Could you imagine waking up in the morning and having to collect water from a filthy disease ridden river? The truth of the matter is that having no access to clean drinking water can be the sole purpose a community remaining impoverished. How often do we spend 2-3-4-5 dollars on something tasty and sweet that we don't even need? Please find it in your heart to donate to this noble cause, my heart fills with warmth just thinking about bringing a new lease on life to so many beautiful souls that are just as deserving as we are!     Why It Matters

    Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

    Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

    Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

    Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

    The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

    Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

    Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
