Every day in rural communities throughout sub-Saharan Africa, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean, safe water. For school-aged children it's a burden that traps them in poverty.
As we being to enter the season of giving thanks, the Samford Women's Tennis team hopes you'll consider joining us to fund a water project. The Water Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to return children to the classroom, reduce hunger, break the cycle of poverty, and provide access to clean water that will improve the health of the members in the community. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. We have the opportunity to change that. If you choose to donate to our water project you will be helping to provide new wells, rehabbed wells, sand dams, rainwater catchment systems and/or spring protections to schools, medical clinics and villages.
