Giving Update: Musango Primary School

"Before the rain tank, life in this school had been unbearable."

"I thank God for having brought you to our school. We used to come with water from home and this was so tiresome. Carrying water, books, and firewood made life difficult. At some point, you would get to school with a wet uniform for if the lid used to close your container fell off then the water would spill on your uniform and sometimes books."

"We did not have a storage facility and that meant we stored water in the containers we came with from home. This could not last the whole day, thus forcing us to go to the spring."

"In the community, the spring is on a slope whereby after carrying water, you could arrive in school very tired and thus reducing your concentration in class."

"We just say thank you for bringing this project to our school. It is like a salt carrying the flavor of God which has seasoned our school."

"We no longer carry water from home, neither do we go to the spring. The water is well maintained for it's under lock and key, only opened when need be. This makes us have water throughout the term and this has enabled us to refocus on education, our main goal in this school."

"Personally, I am a candidate and I had set my target of having marks that will take me to a national school. Checking my performance graph, the time we wasted looking for water has been converted to studies, and I am doing well."
