Aqua Party 2017 is going to be the best yet! Join us to raise much needed support for clean water on August 12th, 2PM-8PM, at 260 Bay Walk, Fire Island Pines. Tickets required.

Aqua Party's generous support through 2016 has raised:

$61,000, serving 3100 people in Kenya!

Each year we help a new community move from needless suffering to opportunities to thrive. This year's project is Emukhalari Primary School

Why water?

  • 1 in 9 people world wide do not have access to safe and clean drinking water.
  • Half of the world's hospital beds are filled with people suffering from a water-related disease.
  • Nearly 1 out of every 5 deaths under the age of 5 worldwide is due to a water-related disease.
  • Each year we've helped a new community move from needless suffering to opportunities to thrive. Here are the communities:

  • 2010 - St. Veronica Weonia Primary School - 500 served
  • 2011 - Mnazio-Moja Community Water Kiosk - 500 served
  • 2013 - Marko Spring - 143 served
  • 2014 - Wuumisyo Wa Miangeni - 1045 served
  • 2015 - Kikumini Primary School RWH  - 239 served
  • 2016 - Bukhaywa Secondary School - served over 500, plus, we had some money left over to pitch in to help another community: Felix Kisengo Spring, home to about 85 people
  •

We'll need to raise at least $10,500 to fund the school's clean water system and new latrines. And like last year, we've chosen to help a school because of the hope and impact clean water can mean for young children.

  • Over half of the developing world's primary schools don't have access to water and sanitation facilities. Without toilets, girls often drop out at puberty.
  • By investing in clean water alone, young children around the world can gain more than 413 million days of health!
  • We hope you'll consider joining us this year! With your generous gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.

Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick.

You and I can change that.

Please make a donation and then help us spread the word to others.

    How this works

Dirty water impacts health, education, women, and income. Providing a reliable and safe water source allows communities to thrive.

The Water Project provides access to safe and reliable water across sub-Saharan Africa. Together, our support can end the water crisis and restore hope, one community at a time.

The coolest part? We'll all get to see our impact! Every gift is directly linked to a specific water project and community. We'll receive updates including photos and stories, maps and more!

Lives change when communities gain access to clean water. Let's experience it together. Make a donation to my fundraising campaign today!
